Hundreds turn out for traditional firefighter's Fourth of July parade in Peekskill

Hundreds of people came out in the beautiful weather Monday for the traditional Fourth of July firefighter?s parade in Peekskill.

Many of those who attended say they come to every parade because Peekskill has the best parades. Some people say the parade reminds them that Independence Day is for everyone.

The Peekskill Fire Department also puts on an annual fireworks show at the Riverfront Green. The firefighters raise the money needed for the fireworks and parade from public collections.
