Man accused of killing woman at Galleria Mall in White Plains gets his day in court

? A videotaped confession from murder suspect Phillip Grant boosted the prosecution's stance that he killed the woman at the Galleria Mall. Grant has been sent back to jail to await grand jury trial.

Hours after the arrest of Phillip Grant police say he confessed on videotape to killing Carrie Russo Carriero in the parking lot of the Galleria Mall. Police also say Grant claimed he would have killed more people if he knew about weapons of mass destruction. According to police, Grant's motive was to just kill a white woman. When he saw the victim, he believed she was a ?closet bigot.?

Grant has already served more than two decades in prison stemming from a previous incident. He now faces second-degree murder and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon charges.
