Governor Pataki stresses importance of fighting terrorism by riding the rails

While the terror alert level is at high for mass transit in New York, Governor George Pataki (R-NY) set an example for residents by getting on a train Friday. Calling fear the greatest weapon terrorists have, Pataki told New Yorkers to fight back by riding the trains, despite Thursdays explosions in London. The governor said New York has the best security professionals in the world and they are working to provide the best protection they can. The governor made his final stop in White Plains where he joined Westchester District Attorney Janine Pirro and other local leaders. They all stressed the need for the public to help fight terrorism by being aware.
