Three teenagers brutally attack elderly Yonkers woman

Police say an elderly woman was brutally attacked by three teenagers.

According to authorities, the teens were waiting in the back of the 85-year-old victim?s apartment building. The suspects beat the woman, stole her handbag and left her bleeding. Police say the suspects, one 17-year-old and two 14-year-olds, are students at the nearby Leake and Watts School.

The suspects were arrested and charged with robbery and possession of stolen property. Many residents in the apartment building say they want more security at the school to prevent further attacks.
