Police in Port Chester search for vandals that slashed car tires

Police in Port Chester are searching for vandals Wednesday that slashed car tires overnight.

According to authorities, more than 80 vehicles in the vicinity of Grant and West streets were vandalized. Residents are upset they have to now make the expensive repairs on their cars. Most people said their insurance deductibles are high, so they will have pay for the damage themselves.

Many residents say they hope the police catch the suspects and make them pay for the damages. Police say they are investigating similar incidents that have occurred in the past three days. Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to called the Port Chester Police Department at 914-939-1000.
