Bronx woman suing Scarsdale corporation after cockroach crawls in grandson's ear

A Bronx woman is suing a Scarsdale-based corporation after a cockroach crawled in her grandson?s ear.

Rene Cox and several residents say their building on Walton Avenue is infested with cockroaches. Cox says she is suing the building?s landlord, New Line Realty Corporation, for her grandson?s pain and suffering after she claims a cockroach crawled in his ear. Some residents say there are signs posted in the building saying exterminators come twice a month, however, they have not seen any.

The landlord would not comment on the lawsuit. Health experts say it is unlikely a cockroach crawling in a child?s ear would cause any permanent damage.
