Parts of Westchester cleaning up from flash flooding

Parts of Westchester County are cleaning up Tuesday after flash floods pounded the region Monday night.

Many cars in the parking garage at the Westchester Mall in White Plains were submerged under more than five feet of water. Workers at the mall tried to get rid of the water, but the job was too big to tackle. The White Plains Fire Department was dispatched to help rid the garage of all the water.

Police say once the water is gone, the cars will have to be towed out of the garage.
