Yonkers city employee arrested for DWI misses court

A high ranking Yonkers city official who was arrested for DWI didn?t show up in court Friday.

Commissioner of General Services Joseph Celli was arrested for driving while intoxicated behind the wheel of his city issued SUV in early July. Police documents revealed that Celli had three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system when he was arrested.

Celli?s attorney says his client is in upstate New York in rehab getting treatment. Celli is also on a one-month suspension from his job, which is looking after city properties. He is due back in court on August 19.
