DA Pirro picks up two key GOP endorsements for U.S. Senate

Westchester District Attorney Jeanine Pirro picked up two key Republican endorsements Wednesday in her quest to challenge Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) for U.S. Senate.

The endorsements came from Sandy Treadwell and Jennifer Saul Yaffa, two members of New York?s Republican National Committee. Pirro said she was proud to receive the approvals and was looking forward to working with New Yorkers who deserve a full-time senator fighting for them.

The Conservative Party chair will not disclose which candidate they are endorsing yet. However, a party insider said it would likely endorse Manhattan attorney Ed Cox or former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer. No Republican in recent history has won statewide office without the Conservative bid.
