Family of Elmsford boy killed on bicycle shocked by tragedy

The family of a 14-year-old boy, who was killed when his bicycle collided with a car Friday, are shocked by the tragedy.

Police say Glenn Mason was trying to cross the intersection of Saw Mill River Road and Payne Street in Greenburgh when he was struck by a car driven by 37-year-old Michael Mills, of the Bronx. No charges were filed against the driver.

Some family members are expressing doubts on the circumstances surrounding the accident. They say Mason would never cross unless he had the green light. Funeral services will be held on August 28 in Greenburgh.
