Many New Rochelle residents stunned after vandalism leaves 20 cars with slashed tires

Many New Rochelle neighbors had a tough start Monday after finding their car tires slashed.

Investigators say 20 cars along Washington Avenue and Warren Street had tires slashed. Police arrested one adult and two juveniles in connection with the slashings. They also recovered a knife they believe was used to slash the tires.

The three suspects have been charged with criminal mischief. Meanwhile, police are investigating if this incident is connected with a similar incident a few weeks ago.
