Greenburgh town supervisor candidates hot on campaign trail

Voters in Greenburgh will head to the polls next month to choose a Democratic candidate for town supervisor, as seven-term incumbent Paul Feiner faces challenger Bill Greenawalt. Feiner, a Democrat and 14-year veteran of town politics, says he has been on the campaign trail a lot and is getting an enormous response from the public. Feiner has already won the endorsements of two environmental groups, the League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club. Greenawalt, an attorney from Hartsdale, went door to door in the Fairview section of town Tuesday selling himself as a candidate with the right kind of experience to tackle big issues. Greenawalt says he also has a strong environmental record, including his work as chair of Westchester?s parks board. The primary will be held on Tuesday, September 13.
