Two police officers were treated for minor injuries Friday after a high-speed chase with a stolen van on the NYS Thruway from Yonkers to Tarrytown.

According to police, a stolen Ford van sped northbound from Yonkers on the Thruway during the height of morning rush hour. The chase spanned 20 miles and two counties, snarling traffic near the Tappan Zee Bridge. The van crashed into a police cruiser near exit 9 in Tarrytown.
