Mount Kisco residents gather to remember 9/11 victims

Residents and members of the local fire department gathered at Mount Kisco Village Hall Sunday to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11.

The ceremony took place in real time, which means the events of September 11 were remembered as it happened exactly on that day four years ago. A 21-gun salute broke the crowd?s silence at 8:46 a.m., the time when the first airplane struck the north tower of the World Trade Center.

One attendee says the day brought back memories of a day they will never forget.
