Yonkers police identify shooter who wounded three teens

Yonkers police say they are close to an arrest after a shooting Tuesday that wounded three teenagers.

According to police, a crowd of teens got into an argument at the Chicken Island parking lot. Two individuals faced off and one person pulled out a knife and slashed the other on the arm. Police say a man not connected with the fighting pulled out a handgun and fired warning shots into the air. He then fired shots into the crowd, grazing three teens.

Police say they have identified the individual responsible and are searching for him. They are urging him to turn himself into authorities.
