Police say a Port Chester woman is home safe after abduction and rape

A Port Chester woman is home safe Tuesday after police say she was abducted and raped by two men.

Police say the 22-year-old Guatemalan woman was at work Sunday when she was abducted by two men. Police say Manuel De Cruz and Rafael Garcia drove the woman to a motel in Pennsylvania where they raped her.

Authorities say they believe the woman may have also been part of a human sex trafficking ring. Police believe the woman may have been forced into a sexual relationship with Garcia. They say he threatened to kill her family if she ever tried to leave him. They also say he was planning on charging her $5,000 to help her bring her family to the U.S.

Both men have been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.
