Two well-known developers make Ossining waterfront a joint venture

Two of Westchester's biggest developers are forming a joint venture to finish the Ossining Harbour Square waterfront project.

Louis Cappelli announced Friday that Martin Ginsburg will be helping to build the controversial project on the Ossining waterfront. Cappelli has been trying to build Harbour Square on the Hudson River since the village first asked for proposals eight years ago. He denies the 50-50 partnership as an attempt to lessen the financial pain caused by the project?s opponents in the community.

Cappelli will focus on construction and Ginsburg will focus on marketing and design. The two hope to begin construction later this year or early next year.
