Westchester medical relief team returns from Katrina, may head south for Rita

A Westchester medical relief team who spent the last two weeks in hurricane-ravaged New Orleans are now back home in Westchester, but they may soon be returning for Rita.

The local doctors and nurses say if they are needed in the weeks to come they are ready and willing to head back to the Gulf Coast.

Kevin Chason, who is used to the stress of an the emergency room, says he was impressed by the optimistic attitudes of those they helped even in light of the tough days and nights ahead.
