Memorial garden built in Dobbs Ferry in memory of 9/11 victim

A memorial garden has been built in Dobbs Ferry as a way to remember a 9/11 victim.

The garden was built just beyond Zion Episcopal Church with a peaceful meditation pond. Friends and family of Michael Lepore gathered at the church where he was once an active member to dedicate the garden. The project was first conceived by Michael's partner of 18 years, David O'Leary. He hopes that locals will be able to come to the garden, think of Lepore and find a sense of peace.

Lepore?s family says that while their son can never be replaced, they are grateful to have a place where his unique spirit can be remembered.
