Police say the shootings occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. Monday at Verla International. They say Victor Piazza, of Warwick, entered the plant made up of about 400 employees and shot three members of upper management. Owners Bob Roth, 65, of Walkill, and Mario Maffei, 57, of Greenwich, were struck in the back of the head along with 48-year-old JoAnne O'Brien.
