Dobbs Ferry nanny accused of making drug deal with baby in car

Police say a Dobbs Ferry nanny had more than $30,000 of marijuana in her boss? car, with a 1-year-old baby on board.

Police say Sanjay Rodriques, 24, drove to a Chestnut Ridge Way home and placed marijuana in the front seat of a minivan owned by 33-year-old Paula Bennett of Mount Vernon, who is a housekeeper at that home. Both women were arrested. Police say they received a tip that Rodrigues was going to deliver marijuana.

Rodrigues is charged with felony drug possession, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say the parents were unaware of any drug activity.
