Police rule out foul play in fire that killed Mount Pleasant teen

Police are ruling out foul play in a fire that killed a Mount Pleasant boy Sunday. Sources say 16-year-old Martin Voelkel apparently poured gasoline on himself and lit himself on fire. Officials say they found the body burned beyond recognition inside the garage of his family?s home. Police say they are now looking into whether the boy?s death was accidental or a suicide.The teen?s parents were not home at the time of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.Related Story:
