Senator Clinton lends support to fellow Democratic candidates in Westchester

Chappaqua resident Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-New York) lent her support Monday to fellow Democratic candidates in Westchester.

Senator Clinton publicly endorsed Westchester County Executive Andy Spano, New Rochelle Mayor and County Clerk candidate Tim Idoni, and attorney Tony Castro, who is making a second bid for district attorney. Four years ago, Castro lost a close race to then Republican incumbent Jeanine Pirro. Pirro is leaving the district attorney?s office this year to run against Senator Clinton in 2006.Clinton thinks Democrats, who out number Republicans in Westchester almost two to one will back Spano, Castro and Idoni.
