Two arrested in connection with fatal shooting in Yonkers

Two men were arrested in connection with a shooting in Yonkers that left one man dead.Police say the incident occurred on Van Cortlandt Park Avenue between Elm and Spruce streets Wednesday. Police say the victim, Kareem Forman, was stabbed in the shoulder two hours before the shooting. The two men arrested in connection with the shooting were also involved with the stabbing. Police say all three men had criminal histories.

Officials say this is the 15th shooting in the South West section of the city since the start of the summer. It is the second fatal incident.
