Security beefed up on Metro-North trains in wake of terror threat

Security was increased on Metro-North trains Friday following information about a specific terror threat to NYC subways.The threat, involving explosives and baby strollers, was only aimed at subways. Metro-North officials, however, added more police and bomb-sniffing dogs to trains and stations. Subway riders can expect random searches and people are being asked not to ride with bulky bags or strollers. Related Article:
