Irvington Middle-High School evacuated due to bomb threat

Students at Irvington Middle and High School were evacuated Wednesday due to a bomb threat at the campus.

Irvington police say they got the call Wednesday morning and made the decision, along with Irvington school officials, to evacuate both campuses. County bomb squads, assisted by canine units and Irvington police searched the school. The search was completed and no device was found.

Police say it is the second time this year the school had a bomb threat. The investigation is ongoing to see if the threat was a prank.
