Westchester students take strides for soldiers

College and high school students in Westchester held their first walkathon Sunday in support of troops overseas.

The students from Rye High School and Manhattanville College are part of a group called My Soldier's Club. The money raised from the walkathon will be used to buy supplies for care packages and support families in Westchester who have loved ones serving overseas.

The club raised close to $1,200 from the walkathon.
