Yonkers Office of Emergency Management prepares residents for disaster

Members of the Yonkers Office of Emergency Management feel everyone needs to be prepared in case of an emergency or disaster.

To better prepare residents for an emergency situation the office is holding a crash course in emergency preparedness. Emergency experts say every person in each household should know where to find shelter. They say families should also have an emergency contact list of people in and out of state.

Anyone interested in taking the crash course should call the Yonkers Office of Emergency Management.Related Link:Yonkers Office of Emergency Management
