Fatal shooting in New Rochelle believed to be gang related

? Police believe a double shooting on Halloween night in New Rochelle that left one man dead and another injured may be a case of gang retaliation. The shooting occurred on Horton Avenue outside the Hartley Houses complex. Raymond Harris, 25, of New Rochelle, was hit several times and pronounced dead at Sound Shore Medical Center. Police are not releasing the name of the second victim, a 36-year-old man from New Rochelle, who is in stable condition.Investigators say the two male suspects left the scene in an older model tan or grey Isuzu Trooper. A white Honda was also seen fleeing the scene. Police say Monday?s shooting may be in retaliation for a fatal shooting on October 10 outside Eclipse Night Club. No arrests were made in that incident. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the New Rochelle Police Department at 914-654-2300.
