Racism allegations fly in race for Westchester DA

Minority groups are blasting the Republican candidate for Westchester district attorney for a flyer her campaign sent out.

The Organization for Ethnic Minorities says the flyer, which attacks Democratic candidate Tony Castro, is designed to inflame racial fears among white voters and scare women. The flyer has Castro side by side with a convicted killer from the Bronx. The group says it falsely associates Castro with violent crime.

One member of the group says the flyer is akin to hate mail. Supporters of Castro are demanding an apology from the DiFiore campaign.
