Senator Hillary Clinton hits the campaign trail in Westchester

Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) hit the campaign trail in Westchester Monday.

During breakfast at the Hilton in Rye, the Democratic incumbent raised about $150,000. There was no mention of Republican challenger and current Westchester District Attorney Jeanine Pirro. Instead, the former first lady focused on the issues. While speaking at a senior center in Rye Brook and during lunch with the Westchester Business Council, the senator criticized the Bush administration for not doing more on health care and the war in Iraq.

Clinton says she hopes to fix many of the problems that plague our nation in 2006 and beyond.
