Classes resume in Bedford school a day after violent threat

There was an increased police presence at Fox Lane High School in Bedford Tuesday after violent threats sent some students home early the day before.

Students returned to class after violent threats were found scrawled on a bathroom wall. The five girls named on the apparent hit list were accompanied by security personnel throughout the day as an extra precaution.

In a letter to parents and students, Superintendent Debra Jackson wrote that while some might dismiss graffiti as childish mischief, the district is taking the matter very seriously.Related Story:Related Link:Fox Lane High School
