Support grows for anti-war protest in Rockland

Dozens came together in Nanuet Saturday for an anti-war protest.

The protesters have been out every weekend since the war in Iraq began, and support for the group has been growing. Drivers showing their support for the protest were instructed to beep their horns. The protesters say they hope to bring focus to the anti-war movement in Rockland County and across the country.

The anti-war protest consists of numerous veterans and family members of soldiers. Protesters feel the growing number of soldiers dying is the main reason for a shift in support against the war.
