Many parents want answers on Scarsdale principal's suspension
Many Scarsdale parents are demanding answers Monday after hearing about the suspension of the Immaculate Heart of Mary School principal.
Robert Billings was suspended the day before Thanksgiving. Parents say they only know that an investigation is going on and it may involve the handling of school finances. An attorney says Billings is not allowed to have any contact with parents.
Meanwhile, the pastor of the parish is taking a five-day retreat. Parents protested outside the facility and held a forum at the school Monday night. Despite their efforts, many parents say their questions have still not been fully answered.
