Bail hearing delayed for suspect in deadly New Rochelle shooting

A bail hearing that was set Monday for the man accused in a deadly shooting in New Rochelle had to be put on hold.

Police say Shamei Brown, of Mount Vernon, shot 25-year-old Raymond Harris at the Heartly Houses. Brown is the brother of 33-year-old Dashow Brown, who was gunned down outside the Eclipse nightclub in October. Investigators believe that Brown may have been looking for revenge for his brother?s murder.Brown was taken back to Westchester County Jail. He will be in New Rochelle court again next Monday. Police are still looking for the second gunman in the shooting of Raymond Harris.
