Armed robber holds up Chase Bank in Yonkers

The Chase Bank on North Broadway in Yonkers was robbed Friday, becoming the second Chase branch to be held up in a little more than week.

According to police, a man walked into the bank around 1:30 p.m. and threatened to kill someone. No shots were fired and it's still unclear as to whether the suspect got away with any cash.

In last week's robbery at the Chase by the Cross County shopping center, the suspect walked up to a teller, flashed a gun and demanded money.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call the Yonkers Detective Division at 377-7725.
