Mount Vernon H.S. bus driver arrested for drunk driving

A Mount Vernon High School bus driver is accused of being drunk on the job Tuesday.

School security noticed Vincent Fuello, the TFD bus driver, swerving through the parking lot and say he almost crashed into a pole. Before any students boarded the bus, the security officers confronted Fuello and ran him through a series of DUI tests. Mount Vernon police were called and arrested him.

Mount Vernon School Superintendent Brenda Smith says it is the responsibility of TFD to review who they hire and allow to drive their buses. School officials say they are investigating the incident and will decide whether to continue their contract with TFD.
