Retired cop races to safety during Mount Vernon road rage incident
A case of apparent road rage sent a retired NYPD police officer racing to a Mount Vernon firehouse for safety Tuesday.
The retired police officer frantically pulled up in front of a fire station on Oak Street. He told firefighters that he was involved in some kind of incident a few blocks away and that the other driver was so mad he started chasing him in his car waving a gun.
The man also went to the Mount Vernon police station to make a statement. Police say they will investigate.
