Police are investigating a possible abduction attempt in Sleepy Hollow Friday.

According to authorities, a young boy was walking down Beekman Avenue at approximately 2 p.m. when he says a strange man got out of a car and approached him. The boy became suspicious and ran away from the man.

There were reports of the man then driving away and pulling alongside a Jeep with a female driver. Then the two switched vehicles and drove away on Route 9.
