Die-hard video game fanatics have camped out for days in front of Best Buy in Greenburgh in hopes of scoring Sony?s new PlayStation 3.
The $600 game is scheduled to be released on Friday in limited quantities. Serious gamers set up tents on Central Avenue in front of the store to make sure they get one. They had to brave the rain Thursday and the elements for days but the consensus is it is worth it. However, some on line say they have a financial motive and plan on selling the hard-to-get game for a profit.
Many are also camping out at the Best Buy in Yonkers and Wal-Mart in White Plains. But stores are only getting a limited number of units, so anyone not already on line will be out of luck.
