Career of Greenburgh cop in dominatrix scandal hangs in the balance
The police officer acquitted in court of misconduct for his role in a kinky sex scandal will appear before the Greenburgh Town Board and police commissioners Monday.Officer Erik Ward is fighting to avoid permanent termination from the force. Ward denies claims made by dominatrix Gina Anna Noel Pane, who was arrested on marijuana possession and DWI charges on January 21, 2006. Pane says she met Ward in a wooded area in Connecticut where she performed a kinky sex act that she hoped would result in her drug charges being dropped. Ward says he was trying to cultivate Pane as a drug informant. The board and police commissioners have the power to either reinstate or terminate Ward.
