Missing teen reunited with parents

A missing teenager from Edgemont has been reunited with her parents after a 10-day search.

Christine Kang, 16, was found safe and sound Sunday at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Manhattan.

Police say Kang left home on Friday, Jan. 2 after arguing with her parents.

Hundreds of volunteers had searched for the Edgemont High School student, many posting fliers throughout Manhattan. A visitor inside the church recognized Kang from a flier and brought her to the police.

News 12 has learned that Kang's parents picked her up from authorities in Manhattan Sunday night.

Police are still investigating why she ran away.
