Manhunt underway for bank robber

A manhunt is underway after a robber stormed into a Port Chester bank in broad daylight and demanded cash.

Police say the suspect handed a note demanding the money to a teller at Chase Bank at 122 North Main St. at about 9:30 a.m. today.

Investigators tell News 12 he got away on foot with about $1,700. They say he did not show a weapon.

The branch remains closed amid the investigation and the search for the suspect.
