Police: 2 Yonkers teen facing hate crime charges
Two Yonkers teens have been charged with felony hate crimes in connection with assaults of Jewish victims at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack on Black Friday.
Clarkstown police say 17-year-olds Chris Bujaj and Ardijan Mehaj attacked five people, leaving them with bumps, bruises and one with a broken wrist.
Officials say they randomly assaulted Jewish customers at the mall and made anti-Semitic comments.
The teens were arraigned in Clarkstown Town Court and held on $25,000 bail.
Officials say mall surveillance pictures showed some of the attacks.
Police say they are looking for a third attacker. Anyone with information is asked to contact Clarkstown police.
