Woman killed in Stony Point crash

A 22-year-old woman is dead after an early morning crash Saturday in Stony Point.

Police say Brianna Rodriguez, of West Haverstraw, was driving on East Main Street when she struck a telephone pole and went down an embankment.

Investigators say Rodriguez was thrown from her 2004 Toyota Corolla.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials spent Saturday morning reconstructing the crash to determine exactly how it happened. Police say there were no eye witnesses.
