Hutchinson River Pkwy. closed due to flooding
Several major parkways remain closed Tuesday evening, including the Hutchinson River Parkway. Traffic was backed up on East Lincoln Avenue due to the rerouting of traffic off the Hutchinson River Parkway.

Several major parkways remain closed Tuesday evening, including the Hutchinson River Parkway.
Traffic was backed up on East Lincoln Avenue due to the rerouting of traffic off the Hutchinson River Parkway.
The southbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway were flooded with about 2 feet of water. Southbound traffic is being forced onto the Cross County Parkway.
Northbound lanes are also shut down, with drivers being forced off at Exit 12 into Pelham. Drivers can then get back onto the parkway.
The water continues to recede, but commuters are urged to check traffic reports Wednesday morning.
