MTA considers MetroCard fare hike

Commuters voiced their concerns about the MTA's proposed fare hikes at a public hearing Tuesday evening in Westchester.

The agency is looking to raise the base fare on MetroCards from $2.50 to $2.75.

Metro-North riders could also see an increase on weekly and monthly passes.

The hearing took place at the New York Power Authority building on Main Street in White Plains.
