Mamaroneck field hockey crowned state champions

Mamaroneck High School's field hockey team was honored Tuesday for winning their second state championship in school history.



The Tigers were crowned state champions this past weekend after they defeated Sachem East, 5-0.



The team was led onto the field during a rally Tuesday while the school's band played.



The team last won the state championship in 2004.
