Pleasantville says goodbye to murder victim

Family and friends said a somber goodbye today to a Pleasantville woman who was murdered in her home almost three weeks ago.



The cremated remains of Linda Falkoff were buried at the Fair Ridge Cemetery in Chappaqua.



Falkoff's brother from California and niece attended the service along with detectives from the Westchester County Police Department and Pleasantville police.



The 76-year-old was found stabbed in her Grandview Avenue home nearly three weeks ago.



Pleasantville police say that since Falkoff's death, more neighbors are looking out for each other. They say they are are receiving more calls to check on the elderly.
