Critics say Hillary Clinton out of touch with working classes
Critics are saying former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is out of touch after a pair of public statements about her family's wealth in relation to middle-class Americans.
Since leaving the White House, the Clinton family has raked in more than $100 million giving paid speeches and writing books.
The former first lady reportedly earns $200,000 per speaking engagement.
Former President Bill Clinton says his wife, who could run for president herself in 2016, is not out of touch and remains committed to the poor and working classes.
Clinton has yet to make an official announcement about whether she will run for president. She is currently traveling the country on a book tour to promote her new memoir, "Hard Choices."
The tour continues this weekend, when Clinton will be signing books in her hometown at the Chappaqua Library.
